Live LTP with Close & Repeat Order Actions

Overview

This feature ensures that Last Traded Price (LTP) is always visible in the Position and Order tabs and is actively used when placing Close Position or Repeat Order actions.
It enables faster, more accurate trade exits and instant re-entry for intraday traders.

Problem Statement

When traders try to:

• Close an open position, or

• Repeat a previous order,

they often lack immediate visibility of the live price, causing:

• Delayed exits

• Incorrect limit pricing

• Missed re-entry opportunities

This friction is critical in fast intraday markets.

Solution

1. Always show live LTP for every stock in:

   • Position Tab

   • Order Tab

2. Automatically use current LTP as the default price reference when:

   • Closing a position

   • Repeating an order

How It Works

Close Position Flow

1. User opens Position Tab

2. Each position displays live LTP

3. User taps Close Position

4. Order screen opens with:

   • Opposite side (Buy ↔ Sell)

   • Quantity = open position quantity

   • Price auto-filled from LTP (editable)

5. User confirms and places order

Repeat Order Flow

1. User taps Repeat Order from:

   • Position Tab or Order Tab

2. Order screen opens with:

   • Same symbol, product, and order type

   • Quantity pre-filled

   • Latest LTP auto-fetched

3. User reviews and submits order

Validation Rules

• LTP refreshed at order submission

• If LTP unavailable → fallback to last traded price

• Margin and quantity revalidated before placing order

• Confirm dialog for large price deviation from LTP

Edge Cases

• Market closed → use previous session LTP

• Volatility halt → disable Close / Repeat with alert

• Illiquid stock → show last trade time with LTP
